Royal Enfield has introduced an exclusive variant of the Shotgun 650, the Shotgun 650 X Icon, in collaboration with Icon Motosports, a US-based riding gear manufacturer. This special edition model is limited to just 100 units worldwide, with only 25 units allocated for India, while the remaining motorcycles will be available in APAC, European, and American markets.
Priced at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the Shotgun 650 X Icon carries a premium of Rs 65,000 over the standard Shotgun 650. Bookings for this exclusive model will begin on February 12, 2025, at 8:30 PM IST via the Royal Enfield App in India and the brand’s website in other regions. Orders will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with the first 25 buyers per region securing their spot.
The motorcycle features a light blue and white front cowl, while the fuel tank incorporates shades of light blue, red, and white. The side panels sport a ‘24’ graphic, and the rear fender carries a mix of red and white with the Icon logo. Additional styling elements include gold contrast-cut wheels, a red seat, and light blue-painted rear springs, giving it a distinctive appeal.
Enhancing its exclusivity, each unit of the Shotgun 650 X Icon will come with a special-edition Slabtown Intercept RE jacket, designed in collaboration with Icon Motosports. The jacket is crafted from suede and textile materials, featuring leather appliqués and embroidered detailing, making it a perfect collectible for enthusiasts.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 X Icon Edition maintains the same mechanical specifications as the standard Shotgun 650. It is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin engine with air and oil cooling, delivering 47bhp of power and 52.3Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a slip and assist clutch for smoother gear shifts.
The motorcycle is equipped with 43mm Showa big piston upside-down forks at the front and a twin-tube rear suspension with five-step preload adjustability, ensuring a comfortable ride. It runs on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, offering a balanced stance. Braking duties are handled by 320mm front and 300mm rear disc brakes, supported by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety and control.
