A Bering Air passenger plane with 10 people on board went missing over over Alaska in the United States on Thursday night (local time). The plane was en route from Unalakleet to Nome, Alaska's Department of Public Safety said as reported by Reuters.

According to reports, there were nine passengers onboard the plane and one pilot. Authorities have swung into action to locate the missing plane.
