Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The government has prepared a report about the problems in the constituencies of legislators to take feedback on the government’s performance. The Additional Chief Secretary (ACS)-rank officers, who have been made divisional in-charges, were asked to prepare the report.
After Mohan Yadav took over the reins of power, he appointed ACS-rank officers as in-charges of divisions. Feedback about the government’s performance was taken from the public representatives through these officers.
According to reports, all ACSs visited the constituencies and held meetings with the legislators. Besides these meetings, the ACSs held one-to-one interaction with the legislators. Each ACS prepared his report on the basis of this one-to-one interaction. Now, the report will be sent to the Chief Minister. The government will solve the problems of the legislators on the basis of the report.
According to sources, during the one-to-one interaction with the legislators, several issues came to light. A few legislators said that they were facing problems because of the attitude of ministers. The legislators also said that they were not getting cooperation from the district administration. The legislators voiced anger over the ban on transfers.
The legislators told the divisional in-charges that the officers were not scared of the government because of ban on transfer. The divisional in-charges were also informed that the legislators were not able to meet the ministers. A few legislators also said they had always something to do with the SDMs, Tehsilders and police station in-charges. So, the legislators’ opinions should be taken for their transfers.
