Ongoing first ODI between India and England, Shreyas Iyer made a strong comeback by smashing two massive sixes off Jofra Archer. These shots came during the 5th and 6th balls of the 7th over.

A video shared by BCCI on social media shows Iyer pulling the first six over midwicket, followed by an uppercut on the next ball to clear the boundary behind the wicket.

India restricted England for 248

England started their innings well after winning the toss, with Phil Salt and Ben Duckett putting together a 75-run opening stand. However, they lost momentum and finished with a modest total of 248. Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell scored half-centuries, while Jofra Archer's late cameo boosted the total.

For India, debutant Harshit Rana and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each. India has already won the five-match T20I series, but the ODI series holds greater significance with the Champions Trophy approaching.

At the time of writing, India is at 111/2 after 15 overs in their chase. Openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal were dismissed early, but Shreyas Iyer is in great touch, scored half century in his comeback match and is unbeaten 58, while Shubman Gill is on 27. Jofra Archer and Saqib Mahmood have taken one wicket each for England.
