Kanye West (Ye) and his wife Bianca Censori surprised everyone with their unexpected and shocking appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards earlier this week. Bianca grabbed attention on the red carpet with a daring fashion choice - a sheer, skin-tight dress that left little to the imagination, igniting debates about its suitability for the award ceremony. While it is said that Bianca broke the dress code of the event, she might not face legal action for her controversial outfit.

The 47-year-old controversial rapper and the 30-year-old Australian model arrived together on the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena, both dressed in all black. However, Bianca later removed her black feather coat in front of paparazzi, revealing a transparent sleeveless mini-dress.

Her pictures and videos went viral in no time.

Now, in a statement to Page Six, Los Angeles-based lawyer Andrea Oguntula clarified the legal position. She stated, "While Bianca Censori's outfit undoubtedly pushed the envelope, a charge of indecent exposure in California requires willful public exposure of one's genitals with the specific intent to offend or sexually arouse."

According to TMZ, LAPD sources confirmed there will be no legal fallout from the stunt, as the Grammy Awards is a private event and no one from the show contacted police to file a complaint.

Kanye defends Bianca Censori

According to a report in SUN, Kanye allegedly told his wife, "Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense. Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you." A source close to Kanye, who has won 24 Grammys, slammed the awards and called it "boring."

"Ye always planned to do the red carpet and leave — he’d never sit through the Grammys because it’s so dull and boring. People have called this a stunt but to Ye this is his art. He turned up, made headlines around the world and left. No one told him what to do and even if they had, he wouldn’t have listened."

Kanye and Bianca's Grammys controversy

Bianca and Kanye reportedly showed up uninvited, making a brief but dramatic appearance before being escorted out of Grammys red carpet.

Bianca initially covered up with a long black fur coat but later removed it to showcase the bold see-through outfit. True to her signature style, the former architect skipped any jewellery or additional garments, letting the sheer mini dress speak for itself.

Several news reports suggest that the couple arrived with an entourage of about five people, but since they were not invited to the event, they were soon escorted out.

Kanye and Bianca tied the knot in December 2022 in a private ceremony.
