"Time may wrinkle the skin, but the loss of enthusiasm wrinkles the soul." – Samuel Ullman

There was certainly no dearth of enthusiasm when the Class of 1975 from St. Anthony’s Girls High School, Chembur, Bombay, gathered at Elysium Resort, Panvel, for a much-awaited golden jubilee reunion.  The event was a heart-warming celebration of friendship, nostalgia, and shared memories. As we reunited after five decades, the day was filled with laughter, joy, and reminiscences of our school days. Some faces were instantly familiar, while others took a moment to recognize. Yet, despite the years and the different paths we took, the spirit of solidarity remained strong.

For old times’ sake, we began the day standing in rows according to our Houses – Red, Blue, Green, Gold and reciting our school prayer, ‘Our Father in Heaven.’ The day unfolded with games, interactive sessions, and endless conversations, allowing us to relive our youth and share stories of our journeys since leaving school. The delicious food and the boat ride on the Patal Ganga River added to the experience, making the gathering even more enjoyable.

A special mention must be made of Vivian Dias A to Z Mixed Events, who anchored the reunion seamlessly. The core team members, Lorraine Mathias, Dr. Mythili Kameswaran, Bhupi Jolly, Connie Rego, Manashree Kusnur, and Indira Reddy, also deserve immense appreciation for their dedication and hard work in making this event a resounding success.

As the reunion came to an end, we parted with promises to meet again, cherishing the bond that time could never erase. As Winnie the Pooh rightly articulated, "We didn’t realize we were making memories; we just knew we were having fun."

Here's to lifelong friendships and many more reunions to come!
