Dindori (Madhya Pradesh): A 60-year-old man was brutally beaten to death with sticks and rods following a dispute in Dindori on Tuesday.

The incident if of Singhanpuri village, under the Samnapur police station area of Dindori district. The incident took place between 8:30 and 9:00 PM on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the elderly victim, Swaroop Das Baghel, was attacked by Dalveer Maravi, Ashwini, and their wives after a heated argument.

The dispute led to a violent confrontation, during which the accused used sticks and rods to beat the victim mercilessly.

The assault was so brutal that it caused severe injuries to Swaroop Das Baghel, leading to his immediate death at the scene.

The police quickly arrived at the location after receiving information about the incident. They have sent the victim's body for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.

In addition, an FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team from Balaghat has been called to investigate the scene and gather any evidence that may help in solving the case.

A murder case has been registered by the police, and they are questioning five suspects in connection with the crime.

The police are working to understand the motive behind the attack and gather more information from witnesses and the suspects to progress with the investigation.
