AP Dhillon is set to make an appearance at the NBA 2025 All-Star Celebrity Game, taking place at Oakland Arena in California on February 14. The official NBA All-Star social media account announced the news on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Bringing his talents to the Ruffles Celeb Game at NBA All Star…It’s AP Dhillon.” The singer later shared the update on his Instagram Stories, adding, “NBA All-Star take over.”
Dhillon follows in the footsteps of Indian celebrities who have previously taken part in the prestigious event. Over a decade ago, Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan became the first Indian to compete in an NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
In 2021, actor Ranveer Singh was named NBA India’s brand ambassador and went on to participate in the 2022 All-Star Celebrity Game in Salt Lake City, Utah. Representing former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade’s team, Singh played in a thrilling match where Team Dwayne triumphed over Team Ryan with a final score of 81-78.
