A man from Delhi was tired and hungry when he resorted to Swiggy, an online food delivery app, for a vegetarian meal. However, she shocked to receive a chicken dish. The Reddit user who described himself as 'Pure vegetarian' only realised his Swiggy order had gone wrong after taking a few bites of the sandwich. While the man had asked for a cottage cheese option, he was served with a chicken sandwich instead, leaving him disgusted.

The man slammed Swiggy and the restaurant which packed his order incorrectly. He narrated the ordeal on Reddit sharing pictures of the sandwich he received.

Cottage cheese sandwich order kiya saalo ne chicken bhej diya 2 bite khaane ke baad samajh aaya kee lag gaye hai (Ordered cottage cheese sandwich, those guys sent chicken. After eating 2 bites I realised that I was fuc**d)", he wrote.

The incident sent the man on a "solid guilt trip".

"I am a pure vegetarian. On Tuesdays and Saturdays even onions are not used for food at home...I feel like going to Haridwar is right", the post read further.

The images showed pieces of chicken that the man spit out after accidentally biting them.

Reacting to the veg man, people commented on the poor quality and services offered by Freshmenu, the place that packed the chicken sandwich for him.

"Freshmenu is not good, please restrain as much as possible. They are cloud kitchen and I have seen their 2 kitchens from inside and never ordered again", one wrote. "Same thing happened with me but it didn't take much effort to break the bones. It was also the first Monday of Sawan. At home everyone was fasting due to the auspicious day and here I was having a chicken sandwich", said another.
