England white-ball captain Jos Buttler graced his presence at Ed Sheeran's concert in Pune on Thursday as the latter kicked off his six-day tour of India. In a post shared on Instagram, the Lancashire keeper-batter wrote, "A pleasure to meet you @teddysphotos and watch you perform, incredible talent! Got myself a new football team to support."
Buttler and Ed Sheeran also exchanged jerseys, with the former presenting the famous singer with his England limited-overs jersey. In turn, Sheeran gave the keeper-batter a jersey of football club Ipswich Town. Notably, Ed Sheeran bought a minority stake of the football club last year and is also the front of the side's sponsor for the same.
In one of the photos shared by Buttler on Instagram saw both of them posing with the respective jerseys:
Jos Buttler and co. kept five-match T20I series against India alive with a victory in Rajkot
England, meanwhile, kept the five-match series against India alive with a 26-run win as they pulled one back after losing the first two matches. However, they face another must-win game in Pune if they want to be 2-2 up ahead of the fifth and final T20I in Mumbai.
Buttler's form with the bat has been encouraging in the series as well, compiling scores of 68, 45 and 24 but will still want to target bigger scores. The tourists' bowling performance was the biggest positive in the fourth T20I as it helped them recover from yet another batting collapse.
