Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 4.25 crore, aimed at improving infrastructure, was laid in Ward 64 on Monday. These projects include laying a drainage line across Radhaswami Nagar in Zone 18, installing paver blocks in Mangalmurti Nagar and other areas, constructing an RCC wall from Teen Imli Muktidham to Anand Valley Society and building roads in the settlement area of Chitavad.

Additional projects include the renovation of Teen Imli Muktidham, cement concrete work in a lane in Pawanpuri Colony and the construction of cement concrete roads and drainage lines in Chitavad. MLA Golu Shukla, Ward 64 corporator and Mayor-in-Council member Manish Sharma and a large number of local residents and dignitaries attended the event.

Sharma expressed his gratitude to the residents for their support and assured them that these projects would address key infrastructure issues in the ward. The initiative was expected to improve road connectivity, enhance drainage system and provide better public facilities, he said.

Intensive Drive To Streamline Traffic; 60 Sheds Removed, 13 Two-Wheelers Fined

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An intensive campaign is underway to streamline traffic in city. Under this, a joint operation, conducted by the district administration, traffic police, and Indore Municipal Corporation teams, removed obstacles hindering smooth traffic movement.

The coordinated effort, led by SDM Om Narayan Singh, was carried out on Monday from Teen Imli Square to Palda Naka in Zone 18. During the operation, the traffic police seized 13 two-wheelers and issued challan amounting to Rs 32,500. Additionally, around 45 vehicle owners were issued warnings. The teams also removed 60 shop sheds and 12 platforms obstructing traffic movement. Furthermore, 90 shops were issued warnings for encroachments.
