Baramati, the Pawar family’s political stronghold, witnessed a significant divide. Ajit represents the constituency in the Assembly, while Sharad’s daughter, Supriya Sule, secured her Lok Sabha seat by defeating Ajit’s wife, Sunetra. Despite their proximity during the event, Ajit and Sharad refrained from engaging, even avoiding sitting together.
