Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The live concert of playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan rocked the audience at AIIMS’ ‘Retina 7.0’ in the city on Sunday evening.

She presented some of her popular numbers which compelled the audience, mostly youth, to dance. The songs included ‘Halka halka suroor hai…,’ ‘Crazy kiya re…,’ ‘Main to Ainvayi ainvayi ainvayi ainvayi lut gaya …,’ ‘Dilliwali Girlfriend Chhod Chhad Ke...,’ ‘Bidi jalai ke…,’ ‘Aa zara karib se…’ and ‘Kamli…’. She started off with the song ‘Dhoom machale dhoom…,’ from the movie ‘Dhoom’, making the audience cheer and dance.

Sunidhi made her career debut at the age of 13

Known for her vocal range and versatility, Sunidhi has recorded songs for films in several Indian languages and received accolades, including three Filmfare Awards and a Filmfare Award South.

Born in Delhi, Sunidhi began performing at local gatherings at the age of 5 and made her career debut at the age of 13 with the film Shastra (1996). During the year, she won the first singing reality show titled Meri Awaz Suno and rose to prominence after recording "Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi" from Mast (1999). It won her the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent and was nominated for the Best Female Playback Singer. She is known for her versatility as a vocalist.
