Today, January 20, the Odisha Police Recruitment Board will open registration and applications for 933 Sub Inspector and related positions. The deadline for applications is February 10 at odishapolice.gov.in.

Sub-Inspector of Police: 609 vacancies
Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed): 253 vacancies
Station Officer (Fire Service): 47 vacancies
Assistant Jailor: 24 vacancies
Eligibility criteria:
People with disabilities are not permitted to apply for any of these positions, the recruiting board announced.
It further said that only women and transgender applicants are eligible to apply for SI Police and Assistant Jailor positions.
Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 25 on January 1, 2024.
Candidates who are SC, ST, SEBC, or women have been granted a five-year waiver in the maximum age restriction.
The candidate must be an Indian citizen with strong morals and character, a healthy body, and no physical or organic defects. The candidate needs to be able to read, write, and speak Odia.
The candidate must have passed the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) of Odisha's written test in Odia for ME school standards, the HSC or an equivalent exam with Odia as a medium in non-language subjects, or ME school or higher exams with Odia as a subject.
Those who have been convicted of a crime or who have more than one surviving spouse are not allowed to apply.
A bachelor's degree is the minimal educational requirement for positions with the SI Police, SI Police (Armed), and Assistant Jailor.
Only recent graduates in science or engineering are eligible to apply for the positions of Station Officer (Fire Service).

Step 3: You will be taken to a new website after clicking the link. Select the option to "Register Now."
Step 4: Complete the necessary information and submit your application for the Odisha Police SI 2025 test.
Step 5: Take a printout of the Odisha Police SI 2025 registration for your records.
Recruitment process:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) are qualifying tests that come after an OMR-based written exam in the recruitment process. Based on merit order, candidates who place in the top seven times the number of open positions after the written exam will be invited to take part in the PET/PST rounds.
