A video of a mother dog carrying its unconscious puppy to a nearby veterinary clinic has stunned doctors and netizens. It showed the adult dog carrying the little one in its mouth and straightly rushing to a healthcare centre. The incident unfolded on January 13 from Turkey when the parent rushed to the Beylikduzu Alfa Veterinary Clinic by clutching the puppy in its mouth.

The video opened by showing the doggy walking into the clinic with its puppy. The mother ensured that its young one reached the clinic on time and received medical attention. Instead of waiting for human assistance, the mother clutched its baby in its mouth and arrived at the door of the clinic for help.

Puppy survives

Fortunately, the mother's efforts didn't go in vain. The puppy survived. Vets were able to revive the puppy, which was brought to them in an unconscious and hypothermic state. According to reports, this little dog joined his surviving brother from a litter of six. The two offspring are at the clinic for further care, along with the adult dog.

When one of the staffers at the healthcare noticed a dog standing at the clinic's door, he opened it immediately. Veterinarian Baturalp Dogan was quoted in a report by The Associated Press that his friend Emir noticed the mother dog had walked its way to the clinic seeking help and soon opened the door.

Dogan said, "At first he (Emir) couldn't understand the situation because it is very strange a dog coming with a puppy in its mouth and dropping the puppy on the ground. It is not possible to understand at first whether the puppy is alive or not".

Emir told Dogan that the puppy was already "cold as ice" and not moving at all". This scared them for once and made them believe that the animal could be dead, however, when Emir and Dogan examined its heart, they learned it was still beating for life.

"The heart was beating so slowly, I couldn't hear it with my stethoscope. When I checked it with a needle, we noticed a very slow heartbeat", Dogan said while revealing that that was when they felt the slightest hope to revive the puppy, which the mother dog effortfully brought to their door.
