A new Digital Experience Centre, showcasing India's ancient cultural heritage through cutting-edge technology, is now open in Prayagraj. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated this innovative initiative on Thursday during his visit to the grand digital Maha Kumbh.

A technological tribute to Maha Kumbh

The centre presents the divinity and grandeur of the Maha Kumbh in a captivating digital format. One of its highlights is an immersive virtual reality (VR) presentation of the "Samudra Manthan" saga, which has garnered high praise for its vivid and powerful depiction through advanced technology. Visitors can now engage with this ancient tale like never before.

Exploring the various galleries of the centre, Yogi Adityanath emphasised its role as a bridge between the past and the present. He described it as an ideal platform to connect the younger generation to India's rich heritage. “Our future generations visiting the Maha Kumbh to take a holy dip at the Sangam must experience this digital centre. It offers them a glimpse of ancient India, helping them connect with their roots and deepen their faith in Sanatan dharma,” he remarked.

Spiritual heaven for all visitors

The chief minister further highlighted that the centre would inspire youth while providing profound peace and spiritual energy to every devotee. Additionally, it promises to offer foreign tourists a meaningful insight into India’s cultural and historical richness.

Spread over an impressive 60,000 square feet in Sector 3 of the Maha Kumbh mela area, the Digital Experience Centre is divided into 12 immersive zones. Each zone uses advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), VR, augmented reality (AR), holograms, and LED displays to bring mythological stories to life.

Some of the centre’s main attractions include digital portrayals of mythological tales like the Maha Kumbh, Samudra Manthan, Prayag Mahatam, and Triveni Sangam. Visitors attending the Maha Kumbh can delve into these engaging formats, making the experience both educational and deeply immersive.
