Bengaluru: The Silicon Valley of India has experienced light rainfall on Monday, January 13, 2025. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city will experience a shift in weather conditions. The IMD predicted light rainfall and partly cloudy skies on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Change in weather conditions is anticipated due to the formation of cyclonic circulation over the southeast Bay of Bengal.

The minimum and maximum temperatures drop from 17 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius. The city is expected to have cool weather and a foggy morning on Tuesday. According to the IMD, January is the coldest month of the winter season, during which the average minimum temperature is around 16 degrees Celsius. The city witnessed the sunrise at 6:46 am and is expected to set at 6:12 pm.

The humidity level is expected to range around 64 per cent. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at a speed of 21 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 78, which indicates moderate air quality in the city and its adjoining areas.

Scattered rainfall is predicted in coastal areas, South Interior Karnataka and isolated places of Malnad districts of Karnataka. Meanwhile, dry air is likely to prevail in North Interior Karnataka. Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X and wrote, "Scattered showers over the south interior, coastal and hilly districts of the state. Dry air is likely over the north interior districts. There will be moderate to heavy fog over the state and scattered showers."
