Karnataka Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar and MLC Chennaraj Hattiholi escaped with minor injuries after their car met with an accident near Belagavi on Tuesday. The accident took place at 6 am when the driver of the car tried to avoid a dog on the road. He lost control, and the car hit a tree. The development was confirmed by Hebbalkar's son Mrunal.
Hebbalkar sustained minor injuries to her back and face. Meanwhile, Hattiholi suffered minor injuries to his head, reported ANI.

The front part of the car was completely damaged in the accident, reported NDTV. All the six airbags of Toyota Innova HyCross reportedly opened after the car hit he tree.
