Bangladesh's all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been excluded from the Bangladesh squad of Champions Trophy after failing second test of his bowling action in Chennai last month. Along with Shakib Al Hasan Litton das too couldn't make his place in the squad due to string of poor performance.
Shakib's gets Suspended for illegal bowling action
Shakib has constantly been in the headlines on the field. It all started during a County Championship match for Surrey against Somerset in September.
The umpires reported his action and as a result, he was banned from bowling by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB). During the assessment at Loughborough University, it was found that the elbow extension in his action was more than the permissible 15 degrees.
The 37-year-old player ended up failing in his second bowling assessment test which was conducted in Chennai last month.
