Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An alert has been issued for thunderstorm with lightning and hailstorm in Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari and Pandhurna district in next 24 hours.
According to meteorological department, thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur in Katni and Damoh district. Moderate fog will prevail in Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna and Maihar district.
In last 24 hours, dense fog gripped Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia and Niwari district while shallow to moderate fog prevailed in Neemuch, Sheopur Kalan, Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi and Singrauli district. Gwalior airport recorded zero visibility.
On Saturday, Bhopal recorded maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius while its night temperature was 8.5 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded day temperature of 27.2 degrees Celsius while its night temperature was 14.2 degrees Celsius after rise of 4.4 degrees.
Department officials said western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation lies over central Pakistan and neighbourhood. The induced cyclonic circulation now lies over west Rajasthan and neighbourhood. This will bring light rain and hail in Madhya Pradesh.
