Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria, who made her acting debut with Punit Malhotra's Student Of The Year 2, recently slammed a news article for labelling Hollywood actresses Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis, and Fernanda Torres as "old ladies" in the story "Lady Energy Flexed Its Well-Toned Muscles At The Golden Globe."

Taking to her Instagram story, Tara expressed her disappointment and wrote, ""Old lady " ???? Seriously? (Beautiful, successful) women in their 50's & 60's are NOT old.. MORE importantly, aging is SUCH a fantastic experience we are all lucky to have - why does the media always talk negatively about it particularly when they address women in entertainment and otherwise?"

"We must STOP attaching shame to a powerful and glorious, natural experience because young women everywhere will continue to associate fear and self loathing with growing older! And that is just not okay anymore.. LETS BE BETTER FOLKS, ITS 2025!!!," she added.

Recently, Tara was rumoured to be dating Jism 2 actor, Arunoday Singh. However, she denied the news and told Hindustan Times that she is single.

Talking about her relationship with the actor, the actress said, "Arunoday is a dear friend of mine and I am single."

Tara was previously in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor's cousin, Aadar Jain. Aadar is now engaged to entrepreneur Alekha Advani, who was once a close friend of Tara's.

Previously, when Tara and Aadar were dating, Alekha joined them on their romantic trip and even humorously referred to herself as the 'third wheel.'

On the work front, she was the last OTT project, Apurva, starring Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee and Dhairya Karwa.

Earlier, she was rumoured to be a part of Yash starter Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups. It was reported that Tara has been signed as Yash's love interest in the upcoming action thriller. However, Tara had quashed the reports.
