RJ Mahvash, who is rumoured to be dating cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal amid his divorce reports with actress-choreographer Dhanashree Verma, has slammed 'baseless' reports and urged everyone to let people live in peace. For those unversed, Chahal was recently spotted with a mystery girl and their picture went viral within no time. Some Reddit users uncovered her identity and were convinced that the lady seen in the photo with Chahal is RJ Mahvash.

Now, taking to her Instagram story, Mahvash reacted to the reports and clarified she is not dating Chahal. Indirectly, she also slammed the PR team of Dhanashree for 'dragging' her name in the controversy.

"Some articles and speculations have been circulating around the internet. It's literally funny to see how baseless are these rumours. If you get SEEN with an opposite gender, so you are dating that person? I am sorry what year is this? And how many people are you all dating then?" Mahvash asked.

She added, "I have been patient since 2-3 days now but I won't let any PR teams drag my name into this to cover up other people's image. Let people live in peace with their friends and family in tough times." However, she did not mention clearly that she wasn't the one who was seen in the viral photo with Chahal.

Amid Chahal and Dhanashree's divorce reports, the cricketer's Christmas lunch photos with Mahvash also surfaced on social media. The said pictures were posted by Mahvash herself on her official Instagram account on December 25.

However, what added fuel to their dating speculation was Mahvash disabling the comments section of her post. "Christmas lunch con familia," she had captioned the post.

Mahvash is a famous RJ, who is also known for making videos on fashion, travel and fitness. Her prank reels often go viral on social media.

Mahvash is also known for her engaging voice and lively presence on radio. She has over 1.4 million followers on Instagram and over 787K subscribers on her official YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, on January 8, Dhanashree slammed people for questioning her character without bothering to verify the facts. "The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What's truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate," she wrote on Instagram.

"I've worked hard for years to build my name and integrity. My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others. I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification. Om Namah Shivaay," Dhanashree added.

Meanwhile, Dhanashree and Chahal have unfollowed each other on Instagram and have even deleted pictures with each other from their social media handles. They tied the knot in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony. Reports have stated that they will announce their divorce soon.
