A shocking incident occurred in the Wadala Naka area of Nashik on Wednesday evening where a biker's throat was slit by a nylon manja while he was returning home from work. The biker, identified as Mushran Mohsin Syed, sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Syed, who works at a clothes shop on Main Road, was riding his bike in the Wadala Naka area when the nylon rope got entangled around his throat. The incident caused severe injuries, leading him to collapse on the road. Locals immediately admitted him to a nearby private hospital, where doctors treated him and administered 40 stitches to save his life.

Call to ban nylon rope

Syed’s relatives expressed their gratitude for the timely medical assistance that saved his life. However, they also raised concerns about the danger posed by nylon manja and the delayed action by the authorities. Residents have alleged that the police have been slow in taking necessary measures against those responsible.

The incident has sparked widespread demands for the immediate banning of nylon manja and nets in the area to prevent such accidents in the future. The call for action is gaining momentum, with residents urging authorities to act swiftly to ensure public safety.
