Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Three bike-borne miscreants opened fire at a petrol pump after a dispute over delayed service in Gwalior on Tuesday.

In the CCTV footage, the attacker is seen taking out a rifle and firing shots at the petrol pump. The video shows him scaring people around, waving the gun, and firing a shot that went through the door of a loading vehicle parked nearby.

According to reports, the three men arrived at the petrol pump on motorcycles to refuel. A heated argument broke out between them and the staff over the delay, and then the attackers started abusing.

One of the men, carrying a rifle, threatened to shoot everyone present at the pump. He then fired a shot, which pierced the door of a loading vehicle and hit the driver sitting in the driver’s seat.

The driver, identified as Rajendra, was seriously injured in the leg and was rushed to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

After the attack, the miscreants fled the scene, waving their rifle in the air. The incident created panic among the people at the petrol pump. The police were informed, and senior officers arrived at the scene to investigate.

CCTV footage from the petrol pump showed three unidentified attackers, but their faces were not clearly visible.

Police have registered a case of attempted murder against the unknown attackers and are analysing nearby CCTV footage to identify and catch them.

Rajendra informed the police that the firing occurred just as he was refueling his vehicle and preparing to leave.

The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to locate and arrest the culprits.
