Hero MotoCorp, the world leader in the production of motorcycles and scooters, has launched an innovative initiative, Hero for Startups (HFS). The program aims to promote innovation in the mobility sector and support startups in alignment with the vision of a self-reliant India. As part of this initiative, Hero MotoCorp, in collaboration with the Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC), will host a workshop on January 13, 2025, at CMIA Bajaj Bhavan in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The Hero for Startups (HFS) platform identifies startups with the potential to transform the future of the automotive sector and provides them with financial and infrastructural support. This initiative aligns with Hero MotoCorp's "Future of Mobility" vision and connects startups to world-class resources, including Hero's R&D facilities in Germany and India, the company's extensive network, and guidance from industry leaders. Selected startups will have the opportunity to work on paid Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and successful concepts may be integrated into Hero MotoCorp's diverse product portfolio.
Speaking about the initiative, MAGIC Director Ashish Garde said, "MAGIC collaborates with corporate organizations to implement initiatives supporting startups. The Hero for Startups initiative with Hero MotoCorp aligns with MAGIC's mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurial growth. The roadshow on January 13 will help startups expand their ideas and create opportunities for professional development. Support will be provided by Hero’s R&D, production, and business teams. Startups will also benefit from boot camps and guidance through various initiatives."
