CM Punk's recent performance at Madison Square Garden during WWE’s Holiday Tour was a spectacular mix of comedy and nostalgia. As part of his thrilling return to WWE, Punk gave the fans a perfect blend of entertainment and action that left everyone buzzing.
After match against Ludweig Kaiser, Punk made a surprise entrance later in the show dressed in a towel and shower cap by running to the ring and trying to help Damian Priest who Kaiser and Dominik Mysterio were ambushing. The twist had the Madison Square Garden crowd going nuts.
Earlier during match against Kaiser, Punk paid tribute to John Cena. In a cheeky nod to Cena’s infamous “Five Moves of Doom,” Punk delivered a lighthearted parody of Cena’s signature moves during his match. In the end the second city saint hit his famous Go To Sleep (GTS) to secure the victory.
The timing couldn't have been better with Cena making his own WWE return for the upcoming Raw Netflix debut. The crowd erupted into cheers and laughter, loving the throwback to one of WWE’s all-time greats.
