Kolkata: At least 10 Bangladeshi nationals got caught on Thursday by West Bengal police while they were entering West Bengal illegally.
According to police sources, the Bangladeshi nationals were caught from Nadia district's Dhantala and from Hanskhali.
“Along with the Bangladeshi nationals five middlemen also got caught and all of them are detained,” said the police sources also mentioning that there is one minor among those who got caught.”
Meanwhile, Rabindra Ghosh, lawyer of arrested monk Chinmoy Krishna Das while visiting ISKCON temple in Kolkata said that Md. Yunus' government is violating international laws.
“I have information that at least 6653 incidents of atrocities took place against the minorities in Bangladesh. Chinmoy Prabhu cannot be given sedition charges. Without any condition we will and continue the same fight for human rights. The Yunus government wants to keep Chinmoy Prabhu in jail for indefinite years,” said Ghosh.
The lawyer of the arrested monk also mentioned that if he cannot go in person on January 2 on the day of hearing, he will arrange lawyers who will represent Chinmoy Krishna Das.
“Socrates facing odds has fought for the truth, I will also do the same,” Ghosh added.
ISKCON Kolkata vice president Radharaman Das said, “ISKCON is always in support of Rabindra Ghosh. We hope something positive happens on the next hearing day.”
