What is the DASA Scheme?

Launched in 2001, the DASA scheme is designed to help overseas students get admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) engineering programs at prestigious institutions such as National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), SPAs, and other centrally funded technical institutions. It provides a platform for foreign nationals and Indians living abroad to study in India’s best technical universities.

How to Apply for the DASA Scheme?

To apply under the DASA scheme, candidates must:

  1. Register online on the official DASA portal.

  2. Fill out the online application form and upload necessary documents.

  3. Pay the application fee via SWIFT, E-Payment, NEFT, or RTGS transfer before the deadline listed on the DASA website.
