Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said on Thursday (December 26) that it will approach Enforcement Directorate (ED) against BJP's Parvesh Verma and Manjinder Sirsa whom the party is accusing of offering cash to voters in order to secure their votes. AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that he will go to ED office in New Delhi on Thursday itself to file the complaint.
Singh alleged that BJP leaders were openly distributing money in New Delhi while probe agencies like ED and CBI were not doing anything. He said probe agencies become active only when opposition leaders are to be targeted.
Singh demanded that Parvesh Verma's house be raided by ED, CBI and Income Tax Department. He said that bribe money stored inside Singh's house should be seized.
Parvesh Singh on the other hand, doubled down and said that it did not matter how much flak he receives, he will continue to help those in need.
'BJP Is Funding Congress,' Alleges AAP
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Atishi on Thursday alleged that BJP was funding Congress in Delhi and that both parties were working hand-in-hand in order to keep AAP from power.
"Congress leaders have filed cases against me and Kejriwal but never took action against BJP leaders," she said.
“Congress’ actions have made it evident that it has joined hands with BJP for the Delhi elections. Yesterday, senior Congress leader Ajay Maken said that Kejriwal is anti-national. Did they raise any such voice against any BJP leader? No, but they are doing that with AAP. Yesterday, the (Youth) Congress party filed an FIR against Arvind Kejriwal and me. Third thing, we have come to know from official sources that the BJP is funding Congress candidates including Sandeep Dixit," she said.
