Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh cabinet has decided to ease the process of issuing birth and death certificates to reduce the delivery time.
The process will be made online soon for the public's convenience. This will ensure people can avail the certificates of their loved ones in a click, without making multiple rounds of the government offices.
Several other decisions were taken during the state cabinet meeting held in Mantralaya in Bhopal on Thursday.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took to X to share the inside pictures of the cabinet meet. The meeting started with National Song 'Vande Matram', captioned CM.
Sharing the details of the decisions made by the state cabinet, minister Kailash Vijayvargiya told media that discussions were help on how to improve irrigation facilities in the state and make it self-reliant within next 5 to 10 years. The government has also issued directives to the officers concerned.
Moreover, a decision has been taken to construct Atal Gramin Seva Sadan in every village. Along with this, they will also ensure that villagers shall get access and benefits of government schemes.
Talking about the farmers demand of power supply amid the ongoing rabi season, minister Vijayvargiya said that a decision has been taken to solarise 11 KV feeders. The private players are welcomed to make investment in this sector, he added.
The state cabinet members also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for presenting the gift of Ken-Betwa river linking project. The project will cater to water needs of the drought-hit Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
