Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A video showcasing a fierce bullfight in the bustling market has gone viral on social media. The clip shows two angry black bulls locking horns in the main market of Jabalpur, as commuters stand at the roadside and watch the show.
The incident happened at the busy Garha Bazaar of Jabalpur on Wednesday evening.
It was reported that the fight continued for more than half an hour, creating chaos on the street and panic among the locals. The bulls crashed into fruit and veggie stalls and even vandalised some parked two-wheelers.
The viral video shows a dramatic fight between the two bulls in the middle of the market. As the cattle were caught in a power tussle, a crowd gathered at the spot to witness the striking battle. In the later part of the clip, a few people can be seen intervening. They tried to scare the bull away with a stick, while some poured water on them.
40 litres of milk spilled
During the fight, the bulls also hit a milkman's motorcycle, which led to the spillage of milk on the road.
According to information, two bulls engaged in a fight at the busy market on Wednesday evening, crashing into roadside stalls of fruits and vegetables. The parked vehicles were also damaged. The fight attracted a lot of passersby, and some even stopped to record it on their mobile phones. The local shopkeepers poured buckets of water to disperse them. Others used sticks to shoo them away.
The bull also hit the milkman's motorcycle, resulting in 40 litres of milk being spilt in the middle of the road, making it slippery and difficult to walk. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Public reactions
The unusual event left the people captivated, simultaneously creating panic and concern among them. Some urged the local authorities to take action on stray bulls roaming freely in urban areas.
