A robbery involving two unidentified individuals, who entered a flat in Girgaon and fled with ₹10 lakh in cash after threatening the victims with a knife, has come to light. The V.P. Road Police have registered a case and arrested one of the accused, identified as Yuvrajsinh Ummedsingh (22), a resident of Undra village, Pindwada tehsil, Sirohi district, Rajasthan.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Friday, December 20, around 7 PM, at Shrinath Cooperative Society, Gulalwadi Circle, Second Panjarapole, Girgaon. Inderkumar Motilal Prajapati, a resident of Bhuleshwar and an employee of a private courier company, was carrying ₹10 lakh in cash given to him by his employer, Harish Prajapati. He had brought the cash to Shrinath Society in Girgaon.

While inside a flat, two young men followed him and barged in. They threatened Inderkumar and his colleague, Anuragsingh Umeshsingh Rajput, with a knife and demanded the money. After stealing the ₹10 lakh, the robbers fled the scene, throwing chili powder into the victims' eyes to disorient them.

Terrified by the incident, the victims informed their employer, who instructed them to report the matter to the V.P. Road Police. Based on Inderkumar's complaint, the police registered a case of robbery against the two accused.

CCTV footage from the area has been seized, and the police are using it to track down the second accused. Further investigation is underway.
