Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh's Indore, where a woman allegedly threw acid on her husband over a petty fight on Monday. The accused has sustained severe burns on his face.

The victim had gone to the bathroom while his wife waited outside holding the acid bottle. As soon as he stepped out of the bathroom, the accused threw the acid on him, locked the door from outside, and fled.

His screams alerted neighbors. They rushed for help and took him to the nearby hospital. Upon information, the police have registered a case against the accused wife.

According to information, Mukesh and his wife were married for six years. The couple would have frequent fights over trivial issues. A similar quarrel broke out between the two on Sunday night. The next morning, around 7 am, when Mukesh came out of the bathroom after brushing his teeth, his wife attacked from behind and threw acid on him.

Till the time Mukesh could comprehend, his wife fled from the house after locking the front door. It was reported that their four children were present at home at the time of the incident.

When Mukesh felt a burning sensation, he screamed for help, and upon hearing the ruckus, neighbors gathered and opened the door of his house and took him to the nearby hospital. He was then referred to MY Hospital. He sustained severe burn injuries on his face.

Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case against the accused in Chandan Nagar police station. The police are currently looking for the accused wife.
