Shree Nagardas D. Bhuta High School recently organized its 'Annual Sports Meet' for the students of its pre-primary and primary sections, held on the school’s home ground at the Late Shri Jaysukhlal Nagardas Bhuta Sports Complex.

The event was graced by several members of the school's trust, including Kamleshbhai Bhuta, Devangiben Bhuta, Shubhenduji Bhuta, and Tejashriben Bhuta. The occasion was also attended by the Educational Director, Umakant Raut, Administrative Officer Tehreem Shaikh, Principal Sarjerao Vaidya, and Kumari Sayali Borde, the in-charge of the pre-primary and primary sections, along with teachers, students, and parents.

Commencement of event

The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the chief guest, Vishwashrao Mote, Assistant Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai since 2012. He was greeted with a traditional Maharashtrian Lezim dance and a tilak ceremony. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp, accompanied by a prayer seeking divine blessings.

Before the sports competitions officially began, the athletes took an oath to uphold the values of honesty, fair play, and sportsmanship. The lighting of the torch further added to the spirit of the event. The day was filled with a wide range of activities, from exciting track events to fun games and thrilling running races.

Winners honoured

The winners of various events, including Solanki Priyanshi, Gupta Krishna, Prajapati Shivansh, Prajapati Rudia, Devale Annirudh, Bangara Bhagya, and many others, were recognized and honored with trophies, medals, and certificates for their outstanding performances.
