Indian Railways honored 101 exceptional employees and officers with the prestigious 69th Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2024 at a grand ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The awards were presented by Union Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting, Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, in the presence of Minister of State for Railways & Jal Shakti, V. Somanna, Minister of State for Railways & Food Processing Industries, Ravneet Singh, Chairman & CEO of Railway Board, Satish Kumar, Members of the Railway Board, and General Managers of various Railway Zones and Production Units.

This year’s theme, ‘Mai Hoon Bhartiya Rail’, highlighted the unwavering spirit and dedication of Indian Railways personnel. Among the individual awardees, N Haripriya, Chief Commercial Inspector, Pradeep Kumar Jha, Protocol Officer, and Suprabhat Mitra, Technical Grade-II from East Coast Railway were recognized for their exemplary service and commitment to excellence.

Alongside individual awards, 22 Shields were presented to the best-performing Railway Zones across various categories, recognizing their remarkable contributions to enhancing the efficiency, safety, and passenger experience of the Indian Railways. Notably, East Coast Railway was honored as a joint winner of the prestigious Electrical Engineering Shield.

This award ceremony serves as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication, hard work, and exceptional contributions of Railway personnel towards making the Indian Railways a more efficient, safe, and passenger-friendly organization.
