In Chhattisgarh's Raigarh, a car hit a calf and dragged it on a busy road until a cow herd blocked the way. After the young cow came under the vehicle, the cows rushed to stop the four-wheeler and save the animal. The calf saw a narrow escape from death after the car halted and locals rushed to its rescue. Visuals from the undated incident have now surfaced on the internet.

A video of the calf being dragged for reportedly 200 metres is being shared online by several internet users. It shows the young animal coming under the vehicle on a road in Chhattisgarh, followed by people running to rescue it.
When people saw the calf was stuck below the car, they resorted to help and safe the live of the animal.
Soon after the car was stopped by the herd of cows, people gathered around the vehicle and bended down to pull out the calf carefully.
At the end of the footage, the calf was rescued alive. The animal suffered some injuries.
