Thane: A 25-year-old man accused of a murder allegedly threw a slipper at an additional session judge in Kalyan on Saturday.

Kiran Bharam, was arrested in 2020. On Saturday, he was produced in court and became agitated when the judge announced the next hearing. Following the incident, he was escorted out of the courtroom by the police.

A fresh case has been filed against him under the Bharatiya Nayay Sanhita. Inspector Dnyaneshwar Sabale said they will take his remand in the matter in a few days.
