A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Border Security Force (BSF) and CSR Educational Trust Bengaluru, a charitable trust and non-profit organization, has been signed on Monday.
This MoU is aimed to provide a formal basis for initiating interaction between BSF and CSR and welfare of wards of BSF personnel by offering them nursery to grade 12 education.
Under this MoU, wards of BSF personnel, nominated by BSF will be offered 100 free seats, where all academic fees including admission fee are completely waived except boarding charges. Wards of BSF personnel other than those directly nominated by the BSF, shall be offered a flat discount of 40% on the complete school fees including boarding charges.
Ayush Mani Tiwari, IPS, IG (Administration) BSF and K C Vijay Kumar, Chairman, CSR Trust represented BSF and CSR Educational Trust in the signing in ceremony.
This MoU was signed at Force Headquarter BSF, New Delhi in presence of Daljit Singh Chawdhary, IPS, DG BSF and it was attended by heads of Directorates of Force Headquarter physically. Command Headquarters, other Frontiers, Training Centres and Units have attended the ceremony through video conferencing facility. Speaking on the occasion, DG BSF said that this is an important welfare initiative by BSF and CSR educational trust, Bengaluru (United World Academy), which will provide the benefits for the wards of BSF personnel in the field of education.
