Eligibility criteria:
Citizens of nations with diplomatic relations to Japan are required to be eligible; Japanese nationals are not, unless they choose to relinquish their Japanese citizenship.
Candidates must have been born on April 2, 1990, or later.
Applicants ought to be in good physical and mental condition.
In order to study in Japan, scholars need to enter the country with a student visa.
MEXT calculates a minimum CGPA of 2.30 out of 3.00.
Candidates for English-medium programs must either have earned a prior degree in English or have English ability at the CEFR B2 level.
