On the 155^th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, R. Rajagopal, General Manager, paid floral tributes to Father of the Nation. Later, Rajagopal administered the Swachhata Pledge to officers and staff of RWF.

Swachhata Pakhwada is being observed at Rail Wheel Factory from 01/10/2024 to 15/10/2024.

A series of vigorous cleaning activities are planned 3/10/2024 to 15/10/2024. A calendar for cleaning activites like Swachh Karyasthal, Swachh Karyalaya, Swachh Colonies & Parisar, Swachh Aahar, Swachh Neer Swachh Prasadhan & Paryavaran, is slated to ensure that all areas of office and colonies are attended.

Swachhata Awareness Rally for creating awareness regarding cleanliness, hygiene and conservation of environment and Nukkad Natak are organized on 15/10/2024.

Swachh Spardha, competition on Swachatta is organized on 14/10/2024 for all employees.

A programme on creating awareness on harmful effects of Single-Use Plastic (SUP) is also organized on 15/10/2024.

During the Fortnight RWF is facilitating the creation of its first Miyawaki forest in association with Say Trees, an NGO, which is also a CSR activity of Fidelity Investments & ITC Infotech. About 1½ acre land filled with weeds was cleared for this purpose. As many as 18,000 Trees shall be planted in this location. Apart from this 7,000 more saplings shall be planted in different areas.
