DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor, La. Ganesan, on Friday said the teachings of the revered first Guru of Sikhism has left an indelible mark that transcend barriers of faith, creed and nationality and added that his universal message of love, equality and service continues to inspire millions around the globe. He stated this the occasion of 555th Guru Nanak birth anniversary celebration at Gurudwara Sri Singh Sabha in Dimapur. He said Guru Nanak’s philosophy of ‘Ik Onkar’—the belief in one God, recognises the divine presence in all of humanity. He added that his teachings urged towards a society founded on justice, tolerance and harmony, paving the way for peace and unity in diverse world, an update from Raj Bhavan stated. “By aligning societal structures with Guru Nanak’s principles, a more equitable, peaceful and sustainable world can emerge.
