PHUSACHODU — Advisor of Central Administrative Works Department (CAWD) and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, on Wednesday called upon the people to support the government and work in tandem in order to sustain development and attract further investment. He stated this during the inauguration of a new Panchayat Bhavan building in Phusachodu village under Phek district. Khamo commended the Phusachodu Village Council (PVC) and Village Development Board (VDB) for the judicious use of government funds for development of the village including improving road connectivity and other infrastructures. He encouraged the community to take advantage of the government schemes and facilities aimed at improving livelihood and empowerment, health and other sectors. He also urged the people to unite and imbibe the culture of honesty and hard work. Besides, the advisor urged the villagers to embrace the people-centric government initiatives be it in education, livelihood, health initiatives, economic empowerment and entrepreneurship. He asserted that the government of the day is working towards inclusive development.
