DIMAPUR — The monthly district planning and development board (DPDB) meetings for Chümoukedima and Phek districts were held on November 11 and November 10, respectively. The Chümoukedima meeting was chaired by Zhaleo Rio, Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, while the Phek meeting was led by Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor for New and Renewable Energy and National Disaster Management Authority and DPDB chairman for Phek DPDB. Chümoukedima: Held at DC conference hall, Zhaleo Rio, speaking on the occasion, said that it is the duty of all government servants to attend the meeting regularly and be more interactive, a DIPR report stated. Taking note of the advisor’s comment, the deputy commissioner decided to cross-check the attendance records of all heads of offices and to take up the issue in the next DPDB meeting. Rio informed that soon every department has to work out its respective action plan and work programmes for the coming fiscal year 2025-26. He also appealed to the concerned department to make it a point to supply seeds, saplings and various plants at the right time to the farmers and villagers, taking note of the climatic conditions.
