DIMAPUR — Deputy Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), S Toiho Yeptho, has embarked on a Commonwealth Parliamentary Association post-conference tour to Japan. In a press release, the NLA CPA branch stated that on Monday, Yeptho visited the Indian Embassy where he engaged in a productive dialogue with Sibi George, the Ambassador of India to Japan. Their discussions revolved around the robust bilateral relations between India and Japan, with an emphasis on the growing partnerships in trade, technology, and cultural exchanges. Following this insightful meeting, the deputy speaker honoured the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi by paying floral tribute to his bust, installed earlier this year by India’s External Affairs Minister, at Nishikasai, Edogawa in Tokyo.
