DIMAPUR — The department of Mathematics at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, in partnership with the Commission for Education, Diocese of Kohima (CEDOK), organised the third all-Nagaland state-level Math quiz tournament on November 9 at its premises on the theme “Playing with math”. According to an update, a total of 18 schools from five districts in Nagaland participated in the event. Sunepbenla Imchen and Imchamongba Imchen, the victorious team from Queen Mary School in Mokokchung, were awarded a certificate and a monetary prize of INR 25,000. Topong Nyakba Chang and Kamutho Zhimomi of Christ King Hr. Sec. School, Kohima, secured second place and were awarded a certificate and a monetary prize of INR 20,000. Tamanna Jannat and Tabasmi Jana of Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur, secured third place and were awarded a certificate and a monetary prize of INR 15,000.
