DIMAPUR — Several organisations have condemned the suspected murder of Noghuvi Sumi, a B. Th final year student, whose body was recovered on the roadside at Northern Angami Colony, Walford, in Dimapur on November 3. TSUD: The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has expressed sorrow and anguish over the recent senseless act over an innocent theology student namely Noghuvi K Sumi. It stated that such violent act not only devastated the victim’s family and loved ones but also undermined the sense of safety and trust within our society. The union has strongly condemned the heinous crime in the strongest terms and requested the competent authority to conduct a thorough investigation into the case and ensured that every detail is carefully examined to uncover the truth and deliver justice swiftly and in transparent manner. Meanwhile, the union also urged upon all right-thinking citizens to stand firm against violence and work together to create a safer environment.
