DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Kohima Region, comprising six assembly constituencies, held a consultative meeting with the CEB region in-charges and the assembly constituencies (ACs) on Wednesday at its conference hall at the party headquarters, Kohima. According to an update, during the meeting, a three-point resolution was adopted. This included rededicating efforts towards strengthening the party at all levels within the region; working in close coordination for collaboration, cooperation, and support across all levels of the party; and reaffirming faith and confidence in the leadership of party president Chingwang Konyak and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio. Theyiekielie Tachü, CEB region in-charge convenor, in his address, urged party members to prioritise the interests of the party and its leaders above personal interests. He also stressed that party workers should maintain discipline, avoid infighting, and refrain from publicly criticising party leaders and representatives. Instead, he encouraged resolving any issues through internal discussions to implement corrective measures. NDPP Kohima region president Prasielie Pienyü, while delivering the keynote address, highlighted the region’s initiatives and activities. He urged the ACs and their frontal organisations to work in tandem and with sincerity to strengthen the party in their respective constituencies.
