DIMAPUR — The North East India International Model United Nations (NEIMUN) annual conference was held at Don Bosco Institute, Dimapur, from October 18 to October 20. The event brought together over 100 young leaders and delegates from across north-east India, according to a press release. The conference served as a platform for discussions on global issues, diplomacy, and international relations, featuring competition among participants representing various schools, colleges, and institutions. It mentioned that Maple Tree School, Dimapur, was awarded the ‘Best Delegation Award’ for demonstrating teamwork, discipline, and active participation throughout the committee sessions. In addition, three delegates were recognised with the Best Delegate Award for their individual excellence: Alvin Singson from Maple Tree School, Dimapur; Pragyan Dutta from MVM-4 Borsajai, Assam; and Thuirei Vashum from Mezhür Higher Secondary School, Kohima. Marking its ninth edition, the NEIMUN Foundation also launched its official Alumni Network during the closing ceremony.
