DIMAPUR — The ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema, and Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Nagaland, on Wednesday signed a Letter of Understanding (LoU) for promoting scientific Mithun production and fodder development. The LoU was signed by Dr. Girish Patil S, director of ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, and Dr. Achila Ao, director of the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Nagaland, in the presence of important department officials from both the departments. The advisor of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Kazheto Kinimi, was also present during the signing of LoU. An update from the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences stated that the partnership marked a significant milestone in the advancement of the scientific  Mithun production and fodder development for promoting farmers and furthering  livestock farming activities in the state of Nagaland in particular and the entire NE state in general.
