DIMAPUR — The women department of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) organised a first of its kind ‘Women pastor’s conference’ on September 11 and the 12th on the theme ‘Experiencing God together’ at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima. The speakers of the conference were Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary of NBCC; Dr. Angukali Rotokha, Langham scholar and writer; Rev. Talijungla Longkumer, associate pastor women of Ungma Baptist Arogo; Dr. Buno Zetsuvi, professor, Department of Education and director of Women Studies Centre, Nagaland University, Kohima, an update stated. Praise and worship was led by the City Church, Kohima. Some important highlights of the event were plenary session on the topic ‘Women in ministry: wading through the tide facing challenges and finding God’s purpose,’ table fellowship, ‘The third dimension: in conversation with our overseas sister-in -law,’ and ‘Experiencing life and people: a real talk with women leaders.’ All together, about 1300 delegates attended the conference. The women department of NBCC thanked all the associations and churches under NBCC, families and individuals for their financial, physical and prayer support.
